Our agency is licensed to do business throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, but operates primarily in the Shenandoah Valley, Highland County, Bath County, Albemarle County, and Nelson County. While our primary company is the Rockingham Group, we have access to a number of other financially strong insurance carriers through the Rockingham Mutual Service Agency, including: The Hartford, GMAC, Progressive, Prudential, AIG, Anthem BC/BS, and a number of other carriers as well.

The agency started in 1985 when the agency's principal, Rick Williams, began his career in the life insurance business in his hometown of Waynesboro. Rick began representing the Rockingham Group in 1990 and, since that relationship began, the agency has more than quadrupled in size. Many of our clients have been with us for more than twenty years and we do our best to continually earn the loyalty of those who trust us to handle their insurance needs.
